We recommend scheduling winterization by mid-October in North Idaho. Temperatures can drop quickly, and freezing water in your engine can cause thousands of dollars in damage. The earlier you book, the easier it is to get your preferred appointment time — our fall schedule fills up fast.

Our winterization covers everything needed to protect your boat through a North Idaho winter: engine fogging, draining and antifreeze treatment of all water systems, fuel stabilization, battery maintenance, and a thorough inspection for any issues that should be addressed before spring. We can also coordinate shrink wrapping and storage if needed.

Yes, we offer both indoor and outdoor boat storage at our Hayden facility. Indoor storage provides maximum protection from the elements, while outdoor storage is a more affordable option. Both include secure access and optional winterization and summerization services for a seamless seasonal transition.

Shrink wrapping provides a custom-fitted, airtight seal that protects against snow, ice, rain, UV damage, and pests — it's ideal for North Idaho's harsh winters. A boat cover is reusable and great for in-season protection, but may not provide the same level of winter defense. We offer both shrink wrapping and custom boat covers depending on your needs.
